Co-Ed Under 14 (U14) Soccer InformationU-14 Boys /Co-Ed Tryouts Dates Tues 6/24, Wed 6/25, and Thu 6/26/08 The format will be 8 V 8, 11 V 11 *** All players should wear their Pirate’s jersey with number (for identification purposes), shin guards, cleats, and bring a ball and water bottle.
If a player cannot make the tryout dates, I need to be notified by Mon 6/23/08.
Team Rosters The teams will be posted on the website no later than 7/15/08.
Commitment As U-14 is a competitive division, there is a commitment involved to the sport. This is not a recreational league and we need to adhere to the high standards and qualities as established in the past. All players are expected to be at all practices and games unless there is a legitimate excuse. There is a Fall and Spring Season and there will most likely be an indoor session in the winter months.
Coaches If anyone is interested in coaching in the U-14 division, please contact me as soon as possible. I will pass your info onto the committee that handles coach selection.
Inclement Weather Cancellation We will hold try-outs rain or shine unless the weather is very bad.
Registration You MUST register the player prior to tryouts on 6/24/08. Register at www.pysa.com .
I will speak with the parents at the beginning of tryouts. Let me know if there are any questions or concerns in advance..
